Individual Therapy for Adults in California
Individual therapy is the primary focus of my practice. I work with adults navigating anxiety, disordered eating, self-criticism, relationship patterns, and the lasting impact of early emotional experiences.
Many clients come to therapy feeling frustrated that insight alone hasn’t created change. Together, we explore the emotional and relational roots of your concerns — not just symptom management — so change can happen at a deeper, more sustainable level.
Individual therapy may be helpful if you’re experiencing:
Anxiety, chronic worry, or burnout
Disordered eating or ongoing body image concerns
Perfectionism or persistent self-criticism
Emotional distance, people-pleasing, or difficulty with boundaries
The effects of childhood emotional neglect or trauma
Areas of focus include:
Couples Therapy
I offer couples therapy for partners who want to better understand their relational and attachment patterns and build more secure emotional connection over time. This work is relational and attachment-informed, with an emphasis on emotional safety, accountability, and repair.
Rather than focusing only on communication techniques, couples therapy explores the deeper dynamics that shape conflict, distance, and connection.
Couples therapy may support you if you’re experiencing:
Recurring conflict that never feels resolved
Emotional distance, shutdown, or resentment
Difficulty communicating needs without escalation
Trust ruptures and a desire to rebuild closeness
Pursuer–distancer dynamics (one partner seeking closeness while the other pulls away)
Best fit for my couples work:
Both partners are willing to participate consistently
Both partners can take shared responsibility for relational patterns
You are open to slowing down, reflecting, and practicing change outside of sessions
If you’re unsure whether couples therapy is a good fit, a consultation allows us to clarify goals and determine whether this approach aligns with what you’re looking for.
How Therapy Works
My approach to therapy is collaborative, relational, and depth-oriented. Sessions are paced thoughtfully, with attention to both insight and emotional experience. Therapy is not about quick fixes, but about creating lasting internal and relational change.

Not Sure What You Need?
Many people don’t fit neatly into one category — and that’s okay. If you’re unsure whether individual or couples therapy is the right fit, we can explore this together.
